FEBRUARY HALF TERM FUN

Little explorers are in for a wild adventure this February half‑term. Follow our Bug Trail to discover how snakes move, how insects feed, and how reptiles thrive in their habitats. Brave adventurers may even meet some wonderfully weird creatures up close, while those who prefer fluffier friends can relax knowing all the creepy‑crawlies are safely contained in an enclosed space.

The brilliant Reptylers team will be joining us with an exciting mix of exotic animals, from smooth and scaly to hairy and eight‑legged. Their expert handlers will introduce curious visitors to creatures from all corners of the animal kingdom, making it a must‑see experience for budding nature lovers.

Not keen on scales? No problem. The reptile zone will be set up in a dedicated enclosed area inside the Animal Encounters Barn, so you can explore the rest of the farm at your own pace.

This family‑friendly adventure invites young nature lovers to uncover the hidden stories of the natural world—how snakes glide, how insects use clever survival tricks, and how reptiles adapt to tough environments.

It’s an immersive, hands‑on experience designed to spark curiosity, fuel imagination, and leave families with unforgettable memories. A half‑term day out not to be missed.

And that’s not all - it’s show time! Get ready for a claw‑some burst of family entertainment during Bugs & Hisses Week, with two live shows every day in our cosy, heated Barn Theatre.  

Step inside a wonderfully chaotic mad‑scientist bug lab or Crazy Critter magic show, where curious creatures, quirky experiments, and plenty of unexpected moments bring the world of bugs to life. The shows are fast, funny, and packed with big visual surprises that keep the energy high and the laughter hisssss-terical.

Expect playful science mishaps, larger‑than‑life demonstrations, and lots of chances for young volunteers to get involved. As the experiments grow wilder, the lab becomes a whirlwind of colour, movement, and sssssss-illiness.

Our shows are on at 12.15 and 1.00 every day during the holidays.

Indoors, imaginations run wild in Higgledy Village and our expansive soft‑play area, giving energetic youngsters plenty of room to climb, bounce, and explore. When you’re ready for fresh air, hop aboard a scenic Tractor Ride through the Sussex countryside or enjoy a gentle Pony Ride with some of our friendliest residents.

Across the park, more than 40 rides and attractions promise excitement for every age. Giant stunt pillows, hands‑on activities, and lively entertainment, including our baa‑rilliant Farm Show. Create a full day packed with laughter and unforgettable moments.
