Situated in 40 acres of Sussex countryside Fishers Farm Park offers a range of options for educational school trips to suit all kinds of educational needs.
The Kitchen Garden
If you’re learning about Food production or covering the ‘Farm to Fork’ topic in the classroom, this is the perfect trip for you. At certain times during the year we can offer planting and harvesting activities and fun talks whilst learning where our food actually comes from.
When the wild flowers are blooming it’s a great place to encourage garden friendly insects, especially bees. Later in the season we may be harvesting vegetables and discovering different herbs. Please contact email@example.com to discuss your Kitchen Garden visit or phone one of our friendly bookings team on 01403 700063
Interactive Farm Show
Schools can also enjoy our daily farm show, where the livestock team bring animals onto the stage for everyone to see and meet. The presenter covers various aspects of a working farm as well as general animal care and information. We hope to eventually provide live milking demonstrations in here too to include a talk on dairy production.
Tractor Ride to the Grazing Fields
Later in the summer we can take groups on our popular Carter’s Tractor Hay Ride over to the grazing fields. If you would like more information on our educational school trips in the West Sussex countryside call and speak to one of our friendly team on 01403 700063 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
